Also called "auto pay", EFT is the most popular billing option, offering freedom from having to worry about your payment reaching Blue Cross of Idaho on time every month. Choose any day between the first and the 10th of the month. You can start automatic billing deductions the next billing cycle after you enroll, or you can choose a specific month. Your first monthly EFT deduction includes your payment plus any previous balance due.
You may authorize EFT premium payments by selecting the "Save time with auto pay" link after signing in to your account online.
When will I start seeing payments deducted from my bank account or Social Security check?
Your first EFT withdrawal may take up to a month to start depending on when we receive your request. On average, it can take up to two months for your first payment deduction from your Social Security check. Remember, you need to pay your premium while waiting for the Social Security option to take effect. If by chance, you pay us your premium and Social Security deducts payment for the same month from your check, we will issue you a refund.
What happens if there is a problem with my first EFT withdrawal?
Call us if your premium payment does not post to your account within six business days of the day you choose. You can call your bank to verify they have the correct account information as well.
